		<description>@Patrick: There is indeed the danger that users don't know the difference, therefor I state you place your search engine one every page at the most used top right corner and leave your web self-service on a dedicated customer service page. With short comment lines one can mention the difference. As you might know, the simple phrases: 'search:' or 'type your question:' in front of the input box results in a huge difference in types or queries ('search' results in keyword search while 'type your question' results in actual sentences).</description>

		<description>interesting topic ;-) I agree with you on the positioning of internal search and web selfservice. However, our user interaction tests show that users find it hard to distinguish between the search engine and web selfservice. I believe the main challenge lies in creating an intuitive user experience and presenting the specific functionalities in a logical way.  
i'm always interested in best practices, so if you know any... ;-)</description>
